WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE -
- An undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Management of staff utilization rates of 80%
- An active presence in professional and client-related organizations
- Tangible results from marketing efforts
- The ability to communicate effectively with owners, clients, contractors as well as co-consultants
- A highly motivated and self-directing disposition
- The ability to excite, engage, and educate younger staff
- The ability to work as a team player on the design teams and within the office structure
- Professional engineer licensure as an electrical or architectural engineer
- Experience in the AEC industry as an electrical engineering consultant for 5-12 years
- Experience in drafting client-consultant agreements and fee preparation
- Positive financial management for projects
- A track record of successful responsible management of multiple projects concurrently
- Experience with Autodesk Revit software
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR DAY -
- You will work as a lead of a project team to help imagine, conceptualize and design great lighting and power design, and take it all the way through final punch to see the final result
- Help your team present their concepts to clients and any additional stakeholders
- Peer review design documents, schematics and spec sheets for approval
- Sourcing materials from a large variety of manufacturers to allow for the best solutions for the project
- Peer review construction documents for signoff
- Overview project reports from Designers to ensure milestones are being hit
- Be the point of contact for clients, responding in a timely and professional manner
- Weekly and monthly scheduling of team hours for successful completion of the project
- Engage in business development and marketing efforts
