Complete and submit accurate and thorough technical quotations against tight deadlines required by the customer for smaller scale projects. This includes conducting extensive research and analysis of multiple product lines in order to generate quotations.

The Controls Designer position is responsible for assist with controls designs and takeoffs. Compile controls budgets, designs and presentation materials for proposals. Generate submittal documents and assist with shop drawing coordination and delivery. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, and assist in improving Visual Interest’s presence in the local lighting control market.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Communicate with customers in person and on the phone

• Respond quickly to all emails and calls

• Provide lighting control system layouts, one-lines and cutsheet packages

• Generate budget pricing for lighting control systems.
